Dr Uwanaka is responsible for the management of the department, alongside his responsibility as Chairman of the AUST External Linkages Committee. He has earned degrees from the University of Nigeria, University of Abuja, and from the Graduate Business School, University of Aberdeen where has a postgraduate degree in Management, Economics and International Relations. He commenced his academic career as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Aberdeen, and has had stints with College De Paris, and National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), where he is an External Examiner.
