Dr. Shehu is a faculty member at AUST with extensive academic experience, including at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN). He is an Associate Professor and holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Business Administration, an MBA, an M.Sc. in Finance, and a Ph.D. in Banking and Finance. A well-published scholar, he has authored several textbooks and numerous academic articles in both local and international peer-reviewed journals. He also serves as an editor for an international journal. His research interests include SME financing, equipment leasing, corporate governance, and enterprise risk management, among others.
