Dr. abubakar adamu Notable Achievement
Dr. Adamu is a Visiting Faculty at AUST, Abuja, Nigeria, and a full-time Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Near East University (NEU), TRNC, Turkey. He is renowned for his expertise in applying fixed point theories to life sciences and engineering. His notable work on medical image restoration exemplifies his ability to bridge analytical understanding with practical applications.
In May 2024, Dr. Adamu's PhD thesis was awarded by the Nigerian Mathematical Society during the 41st Annual Conference in Ibadan, Nigeria, recognizing it as the best PhD thesis in Mathematics for the year 2020 across all of Nigeria. Additionally, in July 2024, Dr. Adamu was ranked as the 69 th among 560 faculty members in NEU based on his outstanding academic publications and he won the prestigious Young Researcher Award during the 2023/2024 academic awards night at NEU.
